Given the issues with our first encounter with Jerk, err Rotface, I thought I'd throw together some more info and tips on the fight. Hopefully, we'll be better prepared for our next hot date with him.
First and foremost, you should be familiar with the encounter itself and the general strategy. Go to
http://www.wowwiki.com/Rotface or
http://www.tankspot.com/showthread.php?61048-Icecrown-Rotface if you are not (for shame!).
If you're having a hard time picturing what the setup for kiting/ooze-merging should look like, I'm including the following links for their nice diagrams, so check out positioning here

TankSpot has one at the above link, but I actually saw a different one that I liked better. It's from the OT/kiter's point of view and you can clearly see some good examples of kiting and successful ooze-merging going on. He also does a good job with the narration and includes some tips, so check it out:
After reading through various posts on the TankSpot forums, as well as WowWiki, StratFu, ElitistJerks and others (so take these tips with a grain of salt), here's what I learned:
KITING1. Pallies are ideal for the OT/kiter job. They can drop consecrate right as the two Little Oozes get together, then back away, tab target the Big Ooze, taunt/throw shield, and run. Throw shield every 30 seconds and drop consecrate in the Big Ooze's path. People with Mutated Infection should run to the Pally OT who should then cleanse the debuff when the infected person is in a good spot for merging. Pally OT can also run through the slime pools (skirt the edge, don't just dive through the middle) by using Hand of Freedom.
2. DK's also make excellent OT/kiters. Try a Death and Decay and Icy Touch/Death Coil rotation. They can also run through the slime pools by popping a cooldown or using Anti Magic Shell and can help ensure the Little Oozes merge properly by snaring them with Chains of Ice.
3. Kiting OT does not need to be all the way up against the wall. The Big Ooze’s radiating damage has a small radius, so keeping him closer to the raid allows for shorter travel time equating to more DPS.
MERGING OOZES1. It's best to intersect the path of the kiter so your ooze moves in front of the Big Ooze, or move in front of the kiter and kite towards.
2. Remember, Little Oozes can be snared in the path of the Big Ooze... So if a Mage is infected, go to the kiter, get it dispelled and frost nova and blink out, the kiter can just make sure it goes over it and BAM. Druids can use Nature's Grasp if they have it, or just root it. DK's can Chains of Ice them. Shammies can also Frost Shock or Earthbind Totem root them so the infected player has more room for error in merging them without being slapped by the Little Ooze and the Big Ooze's radiation.
3. Another method is to let the kiters run directly through the Big Ooze counter to the direction it moves. The kiters will eat one tick of the big Ooze's AoE damage but this is healable and small Oozes merge 100% as intended. You will take a good 9-10k dmg tick, so Healthstones are your friend here. Shadow Priests can use Dispersion to run through the big ooze, merging their own ooze in the process.
4. You can still kite oozes (big and small) into a Big Ooze that is casting "Unstable Ooze Explosion."
It says it's a four second cast, but the aura removed/unit died event occurs about six seconds after the cast begins, as per combat log. This 'absorbs' the added ooze without causing any extra damage/explosions.
5. If the OT gets Mutated Infection, there is no need at all to run back in order to let em merge! Just ignore the small one until the big one explodes.
