Hey guys,
Baldassarre from Veterans of the Phoenix posted looking for a couple new raiders for their guild 25 mans. Knowing that PA isn't going to be raiding 25 mans, I replied asking if he'd consider allowing me to come, even though I'm out of guild. We got to chatting and it seems that he's in need of a fair # of people to help fill up his roster for his 2 25 man ICC raids. They're around the same level of progression as our 10 man, so not leap years ahead.
I've invited Bald to post some more detailed information here, but the jist is: We'd be full raiders in they're DKP system, with all the same rights as far as gear is concerned. We'd be expected to be on and available for Raids that we've commited to. We'd also be expected to show up prepared (flasks, gems, enchants and understanding of strat) and be geared at the ICC 25 level. They Raid Mon,Tues,Wed with invites going out at 8:45 server. I know that these times work for some people. We would not be signing up as a guild, but as individuals. If you're not interested, or if the times don't work for you, Poison Arrow is not making any commitment as a guild.
More information to follow, but it's worth a thought.

Hey guys Baldassarre here. First i would like to say that it's great to see that PA is coming back around. Second it's like warbourne said we have a few spots for progression 25 available and if you guys get on board that would be awesome. Nothing would be required of you except come prepared (except flasks we have those for raiding if you need them and also potions of speed). You guys would be included in our current dkp system which is Zero sum with bonus dkp awarded for downing new encounters. We also have a wishlist set up for one item per month as long as you are positive dkp. Meaning, if someone has higher dkp than you and wants an item but you have it on your wishlist then as long as they dont have the same item on their wishlist then it would go to you even with lower dkp. If this is something you guys want to consider just let me know so i can plan the raidinvites on the calenders accordingly. If you guys are interested we will put a thread up for your members on our forums as well.
Either way let me know and thanks for the consideration, look forward to working with you guys.
Thanks, -Baldassarre <Veterans of the Phoenix>

Baldassare, Thanks for the opportunity to raid with you One question that was asked last night in guild chat, that I was also wondering myself is, if we commit to one night, do we have to do all 3? Oh, and I LOVE that wish list thing with the Zero Sum DKP. I wish we would of thought of that when we were doing zero sum.

Thanks, we just started that on a trial basis but it seems to be working out great. To answer your question we do not expect you to run all 3 nights if you can't make them. However, that being said the only thing we require you to do is to either accept or decline your calender invites so that the raid leaders can plan accordingly. Lets say for instance Warbourne can raid on tuesday but can't be on wednesday night for whatever reason and doesnt respond to his wednesday night calender invite then myself or Shizukana would have to wait until raid time to be able to tell anyone whether they have a spot or not. This causes the raid to fall behind in which case wastes possible attempts on progression mobs. So checking calender invites is the important thing =D I just got home from work but be expecting a Poison Arrow thread on VotP's public forums for you guys to post and have communication with us. The web address is: http://vop.guildportal.comThanks again, -Bald

Bald, Excellent! I think the least we can do is respond Sign me up, I'd be happy to give a whirl. I'm specced Holy right now, with Shadow off spec, although I've been contemplating a Disc offspec for PvP/Raid Healing.

I'm not on the invite list am I? Because I don't see it on my Calendar... If I am, sorry, I haven't been on much lately, been absorbed by Bioshock. Yes, Bioshock 1, not 2
